The Village of Albers is home to many active sports teams. Albers Elementary offers boy’s and girl’s basketball along with girl’s volleyball. Football and soccer programs for grade school students are offered independently from the school. Albers also has many boys playing on the Clinton County Cruisers youth baseball team. Shorty’s Tavern and Barefootin’ Saloon are home to pool, dart, horseshoe, washer, and Clinton County League softball teams. In addition, Albers has recently been awarded a team in the Clinton County Baseball league after an absence of many years. There is a sport for almost anyone in Albers.
