Police Information for Albers, Illinois

1.	The Albers Police Department has gun locks to distribute to the public free of charge. The locks were provided by www.projectchildsafe.org.
2.	"Thinking of passing that school bus that has just turned its' flashing red lights on?" DON'T - here's why... 1st offense - Illinois will suspend your license for three months AND fine you $150.00 if convicted. 2nd offense - Illinois will suspend your license for one year AND fine you $500.00 if the conviction occurs within five years. Each subsequent offense - Illinois will suspend your license for an additional year AND fine you $500.00 if the conviction occurs within five years.
