The following is a list of some of the outstanding accomplishments the Commercial Club has achieved:
- Organized Village Fire Department
- Purchased first fire equipment
- Built a furniture factory
- Sponsored Village Scout Program
- Donated to various youth organizations
- Purchased ground for Village Hall
- Renovated and electrified church bells
- Lobbied the Government to get a new post office in Albers. In 1974 the Commercial Club purchased the land and constructed a new post office. We still own and maintain our post office today.
- Purchased and maintained Village Christmas lights and street banners
- Purchased and donated original sound system for American Legion
- Provided benches, shelter, and playground equipment at Village Park
- Purchased material and erected backstop for American Legion Ball Diamond
- Instrumental in purchasing and building of the current up-to-date fire station
- Funded “Welcome To Albers” fountain
- Purchased Nativity display
- Purchased 50 American flags for Avenue Of Flags display
- Sponsor par 3 golf tournament in October which originally began as Vic Loepker Golf Tournament and has raised more than $20,000
- Assist in the purchase of July 4th fireworks
- Sponsor July 4th parade
- Sponsor Christmas Light Display contest
